Hi Medhavi,

The advertiser pays for every click that their ads get. Google receives the money as its the ad platform. If the ads was run on google.com then google keeps all the money. Buyt if the ads was run on a third party publisher website like times of india or someone's blog, then Google shares this money with the publisher.
